The benefits of a good diet cannot be overstated. If we are what we eat, then we have to make conscious decisions to eat in a healthy way.

I’d have to concur with you on this. Which is not something I typically do! I really like reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!

Thanks Ann-Margret,

We are in San Francisco now. It is cooler than last year, but it is still very beautiful.

Thanks again for your comment and for visiting our site.

God Bless,

This is impressive! Maybe you and Richard should start teaching workshops on how to achieve these kinds of figures. :)

Hope you're both enjoying China! Please let Richard know that I finally did manage to visit your blog.

It's a lot like the concept of hormesis. Small doses can be beneficial, but large doses potentially fatal.
This is true of many of the essential minerals. Potassium chloride is used for execution by lethal injection, but both potassium and chlorine are essential minerals.
Radiations as well (though this isn't a food), though it's seems to be a matter of controversy exactly how much radiation is ideal for people. There is a great deal of variation in the amount of background radiation in different parts of the world.
And then there's alcohol with some legitimate studies indicating it can be beneficial in moderation.
I also recall reading the same thing about tobacco, but I don't know of any evidence supporting it.

It's good to see this posted. Best line: "Fructose is ethanol without the buzz." Alan Aragon had some counterpoints posted on his blog, but I don't think they negate the essential point here, the damage caused by sugar consumption. I've been trying to minimize/eliminate added sugar in my diet. Getting close, but it's still an ongoing project.

Parkinson's is a disease that if untreated can practically take our lives because their symptoms are so severe that prefer to be dead to suffer in all its magnitude so I found a solution online buy vicodin without medical prespripcion but be careful because it can cause side effects.
